If Found Guilty
If found guilty of 1st offense DUI, the following may happen to you:
* Lose your driving privileges for one year.
* 1 year of probation (unsupervised or supervised).
If supervised, you may see a probation officer
weekly and pay up to $45 monthly in supervision fees.
* Spend a minimum of 48 hours in jail.
* Carry high-risk (SR-22) insurance for up to 5 years.
* Attend and complete DUI School.
The court and the TN Department of Safety
may require that you attend a minimum 12 hour DUI program.
You will be given an Alcohol / Drug Assessment and
may be required to attend group counseling sessions.
